Duct Cleaning
Just as your lungs function as your respiratory system for your body, your heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (H.V.A.C.) air duct system and furnace function as the respiratory system for your home or office. If you consider what type of environmental pollutants your heating and cooling system is breathing, then you will have a better understanding of the poor air quality you and your family, and your co-workers are breathing.
Dust, pollen, animal dander, dust mites, dirt, construction debris, and other airborne contaminants are pulled into your H.V.A.C. air duct system every time the furnace or the air conditioner comes on. These contaminants build up inside the duct work over time and can help make your air duct system an ideal breeding ground for mold spores, fungus, mildew, bacteria, and other microbes. Each time the furnace or the air conditioner comes on, contaminants are spewed out and are circulated throughout your home or office affecting the health and comfort of your family and co-workers. Anyone may suffer from allergies, asthma, or other respiratory ailments. Children and the elderly are especially vulnerable to the effect of indoor air pollutants. Also, those with severe ailments, such as cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, require the best air possible.
Evans is committed to providing better indoor air quality to its clients.
Evans uses state of the art Abatement equipment and specialized cleaning techniques to remove the airborne contaminants that lurk inside your air duct system. The key component of this method is our HEPA-AIRE vacuum. The HEPA-AIRE is a high powered portable unit capable of pulling approximately 2500 cubit feet of air per minute (CFM) through the duct system. The machine also features a tri-filtration system including a (High Efficiency Particulate Air) HEPA filter. The filtration of this system is so effective, that it captures contaminants 1/300th the diameter of a human hair. The air is then returned into the home in "Hospital Grade" quality. When possible, Evans also uses a specialized powered brushing system to dislodge the pollutants from inside the air duct system and high pressure AIRE-SWEEP to remove the smaller debris.
Our commitment to service and indoor air quality does not stop there. We take several extra steps to further enhance the air you breathe including washing, deodorizing, and sanitizing all vents.
Evans also specializes in Electrostatic Filters that will provide you with up to 97% elimination of airborne particles and further help you maintain a cleaner indoor environment and H.V.A.C. system after the duct cleaning is complete!
